Mangaluru: MCC to launch 'Tiger Operation' to clear street vendors from footpath starting June 5
Mangalore: Mangaluru City Corporation has decided to launch Tiger Operation from June 5 to clear footpath traders in its limit, Mayor Diwakar said in a statement.
It has been found that many vendors are selling flowers, fruits, vegetables and other items by encroaching footpaths in the city. Operation Tiger is being carried out following the complaints received in this regard. Therefore, all vendors who sell the items on the road side and footpaths should no longer continue this. The goods confiscated from the vendors during the operation will not be returned," the mayor said in the statement.
