Mangaluru: Former Union Minister and senior Congress leader, Janardhan Poojary who recovered from the COVID-19 and was discharged from the hospital, added that there was no need for people to be scared of the virus. Poojary urged people to take good care of their health by maintaining a healthy diet that helps in boosting the immune system.

Poojary had tested positive for the virus and was shifted to a private hospital in the city. He was on Monday discharged from the hospital after testing negative for the virus.

In a release after his discharge, Poojary urged people to wear masks at all the public places and to maintain physical distancing. He also thanked his well-wishers and followers for sending their wishes and prayers when he was hospitalized.

In the release, he also thanked the doctors, nurses, staff, and hospital where he was admitted, for treating him and providing their services.

New Delhi (PTI): A Leh-bound SpiceJet aircraft returned to the national capital due to an engine issue on Tuesday morning, according to a source.

There were around 150 people on board the Boeing 737 aircraft that was operating the flight SG121, the source added.

When contacted, a SpiceJet spokesperson said a flight operating from Delhi to Leh on Tuesday returned to Delhi after experiencing a technical issue.

"The aircraft landed safely in Delhi, and all passengers were disembarked normally," the spokesperson said in a statement.

The source said the aircraft suffered an engine issue.
