Mangaluru: A private bus lost control and rammed into an auto-rickshaw, a car and a bike near Hampankatta on Thursday. Three members of a family were injured in the accident.
Reports state that the diver of the private bus, moving toward Statebank via Balmatta road, developed giddiness due to increased blood pressure near Hampankatta. He lost control over his vehicle and rammed into the other vehicles parked beside the road. Usman, his wife Ramla and son Muhammad Nazal, residents of Jeppu Bappal, were inside the rickshaw which was hit by the bus. They sustained minor injuries in the accident. However, the auto was completely wrecked due to the impact.
The injured were released from the hospital after necessary treatment. Kadri traffic police have visited the spot. A case has been registered in this regard.

Bengaluru: Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister Priyank Kharge has alleged involvement of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in a money transfer network at global level.
Posting his allegation on his personal ‘X’ account on Saturday morning, Kharge said that he was referring to an issue that had not been dealt with decisively by Indian media houses.
“Here is a crucial story that the Indian media will never touch,” the minister has said, and clarified, “This so-called “body of individuals” has built a global network of over 2,500 affiliated organisations. Through these fronts, the RSS collects “guru dakshina” to fuel its divisive agenda. (sic)”
Kharge has further alleged, “The world’s largest NGO is running amok, laundering money and evading accountability.”
