Mangaluru: Shiradi Ghat opened for traffic till 6.pm on Sunday
Mangaluru: District Administration on Sunday afternoon opened the Shiradi Ghat for traffic till 6.pm in the evening. The Ghat was earlier closed till August 12 midnight due to several incidents of landslides and tree falls that were reported due to heavy rain in the region.
As a precautionary measure the road will further be blocked after 6.pm for vehicular movement, the officials informed on Sunday. Heavy rains have caused landslides and tree falls at several places on the road and temporary repair works are underway.

CBSE announces results for Class 10 board exams
New Delhi (PTI): The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Wednesday announced results for Class 10 board exams, officials said.
"The results have been declared," a senior board official said.
The CBSE started with two editions of board exams for Class 10 from this year. It was mandatory for students to appear in the first edition, the results of which have been declared.
