Mangaluru: Sleepy 21-year-old boy falls to death from 14th floor after ‘Sehri’
Mangaluru: A youngster, aged 21 years, died on Thursday morning, after he fell from the 14th floor of an apartment in a residential complex in the city accidentally.
The deceased youth, Mohammed Shamaal is the son of G Abdul Saleem of ‘Mobile Care’.
Shamaal fell from the balcony of a 14th floor flat in the Planet SKS residential complex behind Karnataka Polytechnic in Kadri at around 5 am on Thursday.
It is suspected that Shamaal fell as he was still sleepy when he went to the balcony after having the ‘Sehri’ (supper) for Ramadan

Two police officers die, one injured in accident on Jammu-Srinagar highway
Srinagar (PTI): Two police officers died in an accident on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway here, an official said on Monday.
Three sub-inspectors travelling from Srinagar to Jammu after performing Amarnath Yatra duty met with an accident at Tengan in Lasjan area of the city, the official said.
The injured police officers were rushed to a hospital where two of them were declared brought dead.
The deceased have been identified as Sachin Verma and Shubham, while the injured officer has been identified as Mastan Singh, he said.
