Mangaluru: Aysha Annath, daughter of a daily wage laborer Althaf, hailing from Ullal had issues with blood vessels in her lungs and upon diagnosis at Indiana Hospital in the city, the team of doctors at the hospital recommended surgery for the young girl.

Aysha’s family, however, was not positioned well financially to afford the surgery. Local NGO Team B-Human then came to the rescue of the family and urged their well-wishers to donate generously to help Aysha and her family.

The organization soon collected an amount of Rs. 2, 12,500 from its donors, and Aysha successfully underwent the surgery and is currently recovering. The patient has been discharged from the hospital and is regaining complete fitness.

Team B-Human, in an official press release, thanked all its well-wishers and donors for supporting their cause and helping the patient’s family during their difficult times.

“Ayesha, her family, and B-Human are all thankful to all the donors who generously donated for the cause. B-Human believes, our donors not only helped Aysha in her surgery but also helped her family by morally standing firmly by their side in their difficult times” the release from the organization’s founder President Asif Deals added.

“Through this official release, B-Human would also want to bring it to the notice of all our well-wishers that the organization, through the driver collected an amount of 2, 12,200 Indian Rupees. The initial hospital bill of Aysha amounted up to Rs. 3 lakh, which was, after the intervention of Team B-Human, reduced to Rs. 1.5 lakh, which was duly paid from the collected amount.

“Team B-Human is now left with 62,500 Rupees in its account which was collected for the treatment of Aysha. The amount will be used for the further course of treatment of Aysha. We also believe that we have your consent for using the said amount other similar cause(s) we may come across in the near future” it added.

Bengaluru: The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation will operate 1000 additional special services in view of the Christmas festival.

In addition to the existing schedule, the special services will run on 19.12.2025, 20.12.2025 and 24.12.2025. Further, special buses will be operated from various places of intra & Interstate places to Bengaluru on 26.12.2025 & 28.12.2025.

Special buses will be exclusively operated from Bengaluru Kempegowda Bus Station to Dharmastala, Kukkesubramanya, Shivamogga, Hassan, Mangaluru, Kundapura, Shringeri, Horanadu, Davangere, Hubbali, Dharwad, Belagavi, Vijayapura, Gokarna, Sirsi, Karwar, Raichur, Kalaburagi, Ballari, Koppala, Yadgir, Bidar, Tirupathi, Vijayawada, Hyderabad and other places.

Special buses from Mysuru Road Bus Station will be exclusively operated towards Mysuru, Hunsur, Piriyapatna, Virajpet, Kushalanagar, Madikeri.

The corporation has also announced a discount of 5 per cent on the fare if four or more passengers book tickets under a single reservation. A discount of 10 per cent will be extended on return journey tickets if onward and return tickets are booked simultaneously.

In addition to the above, special buses will be operated from all Taluk/District Bus Stands in the jurisdiction of KSRTC based on the traffic needs.
