Manipal: Journalist dies of suspected H1N1
Manipal: A journalist died of suspected H1N1 at KMC hospital in Manipal on Wednesday night at around 8:30 pm.
The deceased has been identified as Archana (26), a resident of Sastana Gundmi.
She was admitted to KMC Hospital in Manipal 15 days ago in the wake of fever. But today evening she stopped responding to the treatment.
Married five months ago, Archana was three months pregnant. She was working as a journalist with a local private channel.

H D Revanna seeks anticipatory bail in K R Nagar victim kidnap case
Bengaluru: MLA H.D. Revanna has filed for anticipatory bail in connection with a kidnapping case involving an alleged rape victim in the K R Nagar police jurisdiction in Mysore.
Scheduled to appear before the Special Investigation Team (SIT) on Friday, Revanna had intended to petition the court directly for bail. However, he opted against direct appearance due to the filing of an FIR against him at the K R Nagar police station. The son of the purported rape victim filed a complaint, accusing the Holenarasipur MLA of abducting his mother.
Given that the registered kidnapping case constitutes a non-bailable offense, H.D. Revanna has submitted an application for anticipatory bail in the Bengaluru City Civil Court, citing concerns about potential arrest.
