Miscreants pelt stones at Church in Manjeshwar; investigations underway
Manjeshwar: In a reported incident of miscreants trying to damage church in Majeshwar, miscreants on Sunday night pelted stones at Our Lady of Mercy Church and damaged its window. The incident came to light on Monday morning.
The incident has reportedly been captured in the CCTV Camera of the Church. According to the footage two miscreants who came on bike pelted stones at the Church and damaged its windows. Both the miscreants were wearing helmets during the incident.
Manjeshwar police reached the spot in the morning and registered a case. Police team is further investigating the matter.

Congress MLC Abdul Jabbar suspended from primary membership of party
Bengaluru: The Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President DK Shivakumar has passed an order suspending Member of the Legislative Council Abdul Jabbar from the primary membership of the party.
Shivakumar, who is also Deputy Chief Minister, has stated in his order that the MLC is to be suspended with immediate effect.
Jabbar is said to have been suspended for his alleged anti-party activities during the by-election to the Davanagere South Assembly constituency.
