Mitturu: Lorry collides with car; four injured
Bantwal: A lorry collided with a car and toppled on the road near Mitturu on Saturday.
It has been reported that four persons travelling in the car have been admitted to Putturu hospital after sustaining severe injuries. However, the lorry driver escaped with minor injuries.
According to locals, the accident occurred when the lorry, laden with iron sheets, lost control at the dangerous curve near Mitturu junction and rammed into a car.

Meta Apologises for Mark Zuckerberg's remark on India's 2024 election outcome
New Delhi: Meta India issued an apology on Wednesday following an inadvertent remark by CEO Mark Zuckerberg suggesting that India's incumbent government lost power in the 2024 elections.
Terming it an "unintentional error," the company clarified that the statement did not reflect its stance.
Earlier, chairman of the House panel on Communication and Information Technology Nishikant Dubey had said that social media giant Meta is set to receive a summons from the Parliamentary Standing Committee regarding Zuckerberg's statement.
