Moodbidri police station sealed down after five personnel test positive for COVID-19
Moodbidri: Authorities on Wednesday night sealed down Moodbidri Police Station after five of the police personnel posted at the station tested positive for Coronavirus.
The source of infection is said to be an accused who was taken to the police station.
Dinesh Kumar, one of the officers at the station who has been providing immunity potions to personnel at the station said the swab samples of five staff of station were sent for test. Their samples returned as positive on Wednesday.
Police Station was sealed down after the development and entry to public has been restricted.

Body of man in Kalaburagi found hanging in his field; cause of death unknown
Kalaburagi: A man was found dead, with his body seen hanging, in his own field in Hulasaguda village of Kalagi taluk on Saturday morning. The cause for death is unknown as yet.
The deceased, identified as Revanasiddhappa Shettappa (26), is learned to have been a resident of Hulasaguda village.
Ratkal Police Sub-inspector Sheela Devi reportedly visited the spot where the man’s body was found and inspected it.
Police have registered a case in this regard and are probing the death of the Shettappa.
