One arrested on charges of eve-teasing girl on bus in Kasargod
Kasargod: Malappuram Kotakkal Police on Wednesday late night arrested one person for allegedly harassing and eve teasing a girl on private bus in Kasarogod.
The arrested person has been identified as Munavvar (32), a resident of Koodlu.
According to the reports Munavvar allegedly harassed and teased a girl on a private bus on Wednesday night. The girl was reportedly on her way to Kasargod for a school function from Thiruvananthapuram when the incident occurred.
A case has been registered and police are further investigating the matter.

Yogish Goudar murder case: Congress MLA Vinay Kulkarni, 16 others sentenced to life imprisonment

Bengaluru: A special court for people’s representatives has sentenced Congress MLA Vinay Kulkarni and 16 others to life imprisonment in connection with the murder of BJP leader Yogish Goudar.
The verdict was delivered by judge Santhosh Gajanana Bhat. The court had earlier, on Wednesday, held all 17 accused guilty of murdering Goudar, while reserving the quantum of punishment.
On Friday, the court pronounced the sentence, awarding life imprisonment to all the convicted persons in the case.
Yogish Goudar, a BJP member from the Hebballi Zilla Panchayat constituency in Dharwad district, was murdered in 2016.
