One killed as Lorry and Bike collide at Pumpwell
Mangaluru : A Bike rider has died on the spot and another person is seriously injured in an accident between a Bike and Lorry at Pumpwell circle on Sunday Morning.
Lorry was on its way to Mangaluru city from Kasargod when it met with an accident with the Bike. Puneeth and Akshay were travelling in the Bike. Among these two, the person who died on the spot is yet to be identified. The injured is admitted to a private hospital in city.
Traffic came to a halt due to the accident for some time at Pumpwell circle which was later cleared by the police.

US Consulate in Dubai reportedly attacked
Dubai: Smoke was seen rising from an area near the United States Consulate in Dubai, according to witness accounts cited by Reuters.
There was no immediate official confirmation on the extent of damage or whether there were any casualties in the incident.
Earlier, the US embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia’s capital, was also attacked. Authorities reported damage to the premises, but no casualties were recorded.
The developments come amid heightened tensions in the region, with Iran continuing to target US interests in the Middle East following deadly attacks launched on Saturday by Israel and the United States.
