Mangaluru: A landslide that occurred here is now posing a threat to a house causing anxiety among households.

While the soil was removed by the JCB for the construction of a new flat, landslide started due to heavy rainfall on Tuesday. Immediately the concerned people put a plastic cover on the sliding part. However, sliding could not be prevented at one side, due to which the house is now in danger.

The NDRF team, which has already reached Mangaluru and Udupi, has initiated rescue operations.
