Bengaluru: KPCC president Dinesh Gundurao asked whether initiating action against journalist Santosh Thammaiah, who intentionally made a provocative statement against a particular community, was wrong.
Speaking to reporters in the city, legal action would be initiated if anyone attempts to disturb peace in the society.

Mangaluru: Man arrested for robbing medical store employee at knifepoint
Mangaluru: The city police have arrested a man accused of showing a knife, assaulting a female employee at a medical shop in Naguri and stealing ₹19,300 from the shop's cash drawer.
The accused, identified as Sunil (31) from Bondel Patrakodi, was taken into custody following an investigation into the incident, which was lodged on the afternoon of February 28.
Police recovered ₹17,500 in cash from the accused, along with a scooter used in the crime and other assets valued at ₹1,20,000.
The operation was led by Mangaluru South Division Assistant Commissioner of Police Dhanya Naik, with Inspector T.D. Nagaraj of Kankanadi Nagar Police Station heading the team. PSI Vinayak Bhavikatti, along with officers Shivakumar, Jayanand, Sandeep, Rajesab, Gangadhar, Raghavendra, and Pradeep, as well as staff from the South Sub-Division Office, played a significant role in apprehending the accused and recovering the stolen property.
