Prominent NRI S M Syed Khaleel felicitated in Ajman

Ajman, UAE: Prominent Bhatkali NRI and community leader Syed Khaleel SM, popularly known as CA Khaleel was felicitated in Dubai by Noor Sports Center, for his contributions towards community building and social service.
The felicitation ceremony was held on Sunday, March 20 in Ajman during the annual get together event of Noor Sports Center Dubai chapter.
Syed Khaleel SM is also the Chairman of Madhyama Communications Ltd., Mangalore and is known across Coastal Karnataka for his social services and contributions in the fields of Kannada, Konkani languages and their culture.
Along with Syed Khaleel, another Bhatkali social worker and community leader and patron of Noor Sports Center, Bhatkal, Damda Hassan Shabbar was also felicitated through video conferencing.
Several prominent NRIs and guests including noted businessman Qamar Sada, spoke on the occasion and lauded the services of Syed Khaleel SM, and Damda Hassan Shabbar.
Noor Sports Center Dubai Chapter's President Shahriar Khateeb, General Secretary Imran Khateeb, Bhatkal Muslim Jamaat Dubai President, Muiz Muallim, and others were present during the event.

PM Modi reaches UAE, marks the beginning of five-nation visit
Abu Dhabi (PTI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi landed in the UAE on Friday, marking the beginning of a five-nation visit that will also include the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway and Italy.
Modi landed in Abu Dhabi in the afternoon, where he was welcomed by UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He received a guard of honour after arrival.
During his stay in Abu Dhabi, Modi is expected to hold talks with the president, with discussions set to focus on the India-UAE Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and the rapidly evolving situation in West Asia.
Energy security is likely to be a central theme of the discussions, as India monitors rising instability in the Gulf region amid concerns over oil supplies and maritime trade routes.
