Mangaluru, August 8: The popular Apple Authorised Reseller store, iCentral, has now been relocated from the first floor to the ground floor of City Centre Mall in Mangaluru. The newly designed and upgraded store was inaugurated on Friday, drawing attention from tech lovers and Apple fans across the city.

The launch event was marked by the presence of several well-known personalities from the entertainment industry. Actress Anvita Sagar, who also compered the event, shared her fondness for the brand saying she has a connection with iCentral and praised the quality of its products.

Renowned musician Gurukiran Shetty, while addressing the gathering, mentioned his close friendship with iCentral MD Keshav and added that his association with Apple goes back many years. "I’m a hard-core Apple phone user," he said.

Actor, director, and producer Shivadhwaj Shetty expressed confidence in the Mangaluru market, saying the people here are always eager to experience the latest products. "People of Mangalore are very capable and enthusiastic when it comes to new technology," he added, wishing success to the team behind iCentral.

Actor Arjun Dev also extended his wishes, thanking iCentral and wishing them continued growth in business.

Bengaluru (PTI): Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Saturday took a swipe at Union Minister H D Kumaraswamy, by calling him a "Manuvadi" after his alliance with the BJP, for seeking the inclusion of Bhagavad Gita in curriculum for students.

The CM's dig came in response to Kumaraswamy's recent letter to Union Minister for Education Dharmendra Pradhan, requesting the inclusion of the Bhagavad Gita in the curriculum of students.

"After Kumaraswamy joined hands with the BJP for elections, he has become a Manuvadi," Siddaramaiah told reporters here after paying tributes to B R Ambedkar on his 69th death anniversary here.

Remembering Ambedkar, Siddaramaiah highlighted his contribution to the Constitution and his relentless fight to provide social justice.

The CM noted said fed up with social and caste system in Hinduism, and unable to reform it, Ambedkar accepted Buddhism.

He said, "Ambedkar, towards the end of his life, quit Hinduism and joined Buddhism. He was born in Hinduism, but cannot die in Hinduism, because he could not reform Hinduism, despite several efforts, so he accepted Buddhism."
