Belagavi: The war of words between Minister Byrathi Suresh and Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje continues, with Shoba Karandlaje challenging Byrathi Suresh to release documents related to alleged corruption, stating, "If you have the courage, release my corruption records."

Speaking to reporters in Belagavi on Sunday, Karandlaje accused Minister Byrathi Suresh of bringing and then burning files related to the MUDA (Mysuru Urban Development Authority). She claimed that her vocal criticism of these actions has led to various allegations being made against her.

Karandlaje asserted, "I have not engaged in any corruption, nor do I intend to. The Chief Minister’s legal advisor, Ponnanna, has been assigned to disclose records against me. However, what connection does Ponnanna have with the Electricity Department? You have tasked him with creating fake documents. You are also attempting to commit corruption here. Release the documents you possess immediately."

She further stated that an investigation into the MUDA allegations has already begun and accused Byrathi Suresh of making accusations out of fear, stating, "Minister Byrathi Suresh is now in trouble. It is true that he brought documents from Mysuru and burned them.”
