Rider dies in Bike-Lorry collision in Manjeshwar
Manjeshwar, June 22: A bike rider died after he lost control over the vehicle and collided with a lorry after hitting a pedestrian. The incident took place on Friday, June 22 at 10th mile in Udyavara.
The deceased person has been identified as Niyaz (20), son of Arif from Maada. Seriously injured Hosabettu village office worker Abdulla (60) has been admitted to a private hospital in Mangaluru.
The traffic was snarled on national highway here for some time, Manjeshwar police visited the spot and eased the traffic. A case has been filed in Manjeshwar police station.

US Consulate in Dubai reportedly attacked
Dubai: Smoke was seen rising from an area near the United States Consulate in Dubai, according to witness accounts cited by Reuters.
There was no immediate official confirmation on the extent of damage or whether there were any casualties in the incident.
Earlier, the US embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia’s capital, was also attacked. Authorities reported damage to the premises, but no casualties were recorded.
The developments come amid heightened tensions in the region, with Iran continuing to target US interests in the Middle East following deadly attacks launched on Saturday by Israel and the United States.
