Road accident: Injured youth died in hospital
Mangaluru, February 11: A youth who sustained severe injuries in a road accident at Kannur-Adyarkatte on the outskirts of the city died at a private hospital here on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Muhammad Hafeez (20) of Gurupura. Another youth who sustained injuries Muhammad Savat (33) is undergoing treatment at a private hospital.

Muhammad Hafeez was a pillion on the motorbike which was riding by Muhammad Savat. They were coming from Kannur to Mangaluru market for work. At this time, the bike rammed to a road divider as the rider lost control over the bike. Hafeez who sustained severe injuries in the accident was admitted to a private hospital, but he breathed his last in the evening. Police said that the body was shifted to another private hospital for postmortem.
As soon as the news spread that Hafeez was undergoing treatment at a private hospital, people thronged the hospital. But after the death of the youth, the number of people gathered around the hospital was more. Mangaluru south traffic police registered a case.

Israeli Air Force launches new wave of strikes over 30 sites in Iran: Reports
Tel Aviv: Israeli Air Force has carried out strikes on more than 30 targets across western and central Iran, reported Al Jazeera.
“Dozens of Air Force fighter jets struck, guided by Military Intelligence, and completed just a short while ago another wave of strikes to target the ballistic missile array and air defence systems of the Iranian regime in western and central Iran,” the news network reported, citing a statement from Israel’s military.
The military added that attacks will continue on air defence installations, missile sites, military headquarters, and other “regime targets” in Iran, the report said.
