Schools, Colleges declared holiday on Saturday in Udupi district
Udupi: Udupi Deputy Commissioner Hepsiba Rani Korlapati on Friday declared holiday to all colleges and Schools in the district on August 10, Saturday in the wake of heavy rain in the Coastal Karnataka.

Vijay takes oath as Tamil Nadu Chief Minister
Chennai: Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) president C. Joseph Vijay took oath as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu on Sunday.
Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar invited Vijay to form the government after he secured the support of 120 MLAs in the 234-member Assembly.
Vijay took oath at a ceremony held at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai at 10 a.m. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi attended the event.
