Search operation for Siddhartha stopped for night: DK Deputy Commissioner Sasikanth Senthil
Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner, Sasikanth Senthil on Tuesday evening added that the search operation for Businessman VG Siddhartha at Nethravathi river was halted for the night.
"We began the search operation on Monday night which continued till 3.00 am on Tuesday. The second phase of the search operation began at 6.00 am on Tuesday morning" Senthil said adding that generators were used during search operation at night.
"The river is in full flow due to monsoon and as the water stream is moving towards south, Alive Bagilu region is extremely risky to continue search operation overnight. Hence we have stopped search operation for now" Senthil added.

CBSE announces results for Class 10 board exams
New Delhi (PTI): The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Wednesday announced results for Class 10 board exams, officials said.
"The results have been declared," a senior board official said.
The CBSE started with two editions of board exams for Class 10 from this year. It was mandatory for students to appear in the first edition, the results of which have been declared.
