Mangaluru: Various places in the D. K. District including Mangaluru city experienced rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning on Wednesday morning.
The Meteorological Department in the state has reportedly forecasted rainfall in certain places for the next 2 – 3 days citing a decline in air pressure at the Bay of Bengal. According to the weather reading, rainfall was also observed on Tuesday night. The following morning around 6, rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning was reportedly recorded in the district.
Normally, by the end of January, the drop in temperature brought by winter comes to an end in the D. K District. However, this time around, while the mornings in the month of March have been foggy, after 11 am, strong sunny weather has also perplexed the region’s residents.
