Mangaluru, October 09: Declining to answer the queries of reporters, MLA Sanjeeva Matandoor walked out of a press conference convened by him at district BJP office here on Tuesday.

“Minister Khader has given Rs 15 crore for the development of the slaughterhouse under the Smart City Project because of his concerns towards the cleanliness of the city. Isn’t it,” reporters asked the MLA at the press conference.

Unable to answer the question properly, Sanjeeva Matandoor walked out of the press conference suddenly, creating embarrassment to MLA Bharat Shetty, Vedavyas Kamath and others who were present on the dais.

Before this, Sanjeeva Matandoor also failed to answer another question raised by the reporters. At one stage, the MLA said “it’s enough in this press conference. Let us finish this” and tried to switch off the mic.
