Special prayers at Malpe Masjid for missing Mogaveera fishermen
'Let our brothers return safely'
Udupi, Jan 4: After Friday Namaz, a special prayer was offered at the Malpe Jamia Masjid today afternoon for the safe return of the fishermen who were missing when they had been to fishing 20 days back.
Total eight fishermen who had been to fishing on December 13 at 11 pm, were missing. Neither their boat nor fishermen were found even after continuous search operation.
As humans were brothers, let all fishermen return safely, prayed Imam Imran Ullah Khan Mansoori in his prayer.
The Imam also appealed the people of the Jamat to participate in a protest to be held on January 6 demanding searching of fishermen.

At least three dead, 58 injured in UAE since start of Iranian missile strikes
Abu Dhabi: At least three people have been killed and 58 others injured in the United Arab Emirates since Iran began its retaliatory missile campaign in the Gulf following US and Israeli attacks, authorities said.
In a statement, the UAE’s Defence Ministry said the country detected 165 ballistic missiles, of which 152 were destroyed. It also said two cruise missiles were intercepted.
The ministry added that a total of 541 Iranian drones were detected, and 506 of them were intercepted and destroyed.
According to the statement, the attacks resulted in the deaths of three individuals – one each from Pakistan, Nepal and Bangladesh.
Further details about the condition of the injured were not immediately available.
