Sullia: Amidst tension in the region after the brutal murder of Praveen Nettaru in Bellare on Tuesday night prohibitory orders under section 144 have been clamped in Sullia, Puttur, and Kadaba Taluks on Wednesday.
The order issued by Puttur Sub-Divisional Officer Girish Nandan M stated that the prohibitory orders will remain in place till midnight of July 28, Thursday.
The order will be in effect in regions that fall under the Puttur Sub-Division such as Sullia, Puttur, and Kadab Taluks, the order read.
