Talapady: Two injured when car rams to bus station
Bantwala, July 13: Two persons including the driver sustained minor injuries when their car rammed the bus station as the driver lost the control over the vehicle, at Talapady on Bengaluru-Mangaluru National highway on Friday.
The injured were identified as Maripalla residents. The car which was moving towards Mangaluru from BC Road rammed the bus stand at a curve at Talapady as the driver lost control over the vehicle. The car turned turtle and damaged in the accident. Because of the accident, the traffic movement on the national high way was disturbed for some time.

US Consulate in Dubai reportedly attacked
Dubai: Smoke was seen rising from an area near the United States Consulate in Dubai, according to witness accounts cited by Reuters.
There was no immediate official confirmation on the extent of damage or whether there were any casualties in the incident.
Earlier, the US embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia’s capital, was also attacked. Authorities reported damage to the premises, but no casualties were recorded.
The developments come amid heightened tensions in the region, with Iran continuing to target US interests in the Middle East following deadly attacks launched on Saturday by Israel and the United States.
