Mangaluru: Two drivers killed in tragic road accident on Gurupura-Kaikamba highway
Mangaluru: In a tragic road accident that took place on Monday morning, the drivers of two trucks died on the spot after their vehicles collided head-on here on Gurupura-Kaikamba highway. According to the reports, one of the lorries, which carried soil, was traveling from Moodbidri, while the other vehicle was coming from Gurupura.
Reports further added both the lorries fell into a ditch beside the road as the accident took place on a slope road.
Traffic in the area saw a jam for several hours after the accident as the locals retrieved the bodies of drivers after several attempts.
