Two arrested in Ullal’s attempt to murder case
Mangaluru: The police have arrested two accused in connection with the attempt to murder case of an Ullal’s fast food owner Abdul Gafoor.
The accused are Ramit Yane Dhanush (24) and Shranav Yane Dhanush (22), both residents of mogaveera.
On April 14 evening at 6:45, the accused visited Gafoor’s fast food center, which is located at Paris Junction in the city. They started abusing Gafoor and allegedly tried to kill him by pouring him boiling oil. In this regard a case was registered at Ullal police station. According to police, already five cases on Ramit and four on Shravan have been lodged.

US Consulate in Dubai reportedly attacked
Dubai: Smoke was seen rising from an area near the United States Consulate in Dubai, according to witness accounts cited by Reuters.
There was no immediate official confirmation on the extent of damage or whether there were any casualties in the incident.
Earlier, the US embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia’s capital, was also attacked. Authorities reported damage to the premises, but no casualties were recorded.
The developments come amid heightened tensions in the region, with Iran continuing to target US interests in the Middle East following deadly attacks launched on Saturday by Israel and the United States.
