Two workers serious due to electric shock in Kudtamugeru
Bantwal, Oct.23: Two workers seriously injured due to electric shock while they were working on an electric pole in Kudtamugeru in Kolnadu village here on Tuesday.
Jagadish, a resident of Kambalabettu Nooji and Pravin, from Kojiguri in Kolnadu are the injured persons.
The duo was working on an old electric pole in Padaru Kudtikallu in Kolnadu village. Due to electric shock they fell down from the pole. They were immediately rushed to a private hospital in Puttur.
The electric supply was disconnected on the wake of repair work. Mescom officers stated that the incident took place as the electricity from the inverter flew through the wire.

The prime minister also made a contribution to the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund.
"Their discipline, resolve and spirit shield our people and strengthen our nation. Their commitment stands as a powerful example of duty, discipline and devotion to our nation," the prime minister said, making an appeal to the people to contribute to the Armed Forces Flag Day fund.
