Udupi: 37-year-old man commits suicide after developing pain in arm allegedly from COVID vaccine
Karkala: A 37-year-old man committed suicide here on Monday evening after he developed pain in the arm allegedly after getting vaccinated for Covid-19.
The man has been identified as Pradeep Poojary of Tadpedota, Kauduru village in the taluk. He had worked in Mumbai and Pune for 10 years before shifting to his native village about a year ago, said police sources.
He was vaccinated during the Covid-19 outbreak last year. According to the reports, Poojary was depressed ever since he developed pain in the injected arm and as a result, was unable to work.
Poojary hanged himself to death from the branch of a tree near his house on Monday evening, Police said.
A case has been registered at the Karkala Police Station.

The verified footage shows an Iranian drone hitting a tower in Manama.
A loud explosion is heard at the moment of impact, followed by a large fire and thick plumes of smoke billowing from the building.
