Udupi: Former President of Udupi District Wakf Advisory Board TS Budan Basha's wife Khamrunnisa (72) passed away of cardiac arrest on Saturday evening.
A resident of KM Marg in Udupi city, Khamrunnisa was hospitalised since February 1 following age-related ailments. She is survived by husband Badan Basha, three daughters and two sons.
Her funeral was held on Sunday evening at Kadeem Juma Masjid in Hude.

Explosions reported in Dubai, Doha; sirens go on in Kuwait say reports
Dubai: Multiple explosions have been reported in key cities across the Gulf, Al Jazeera reported.
In Dubai, Reuters reported that “several loud bangs” were heard across the city.
In Doha, residents reported at least 11 explosions in the sky above the city, according to Al Jazeera.
Al Jazeera’s Arabic channel reported air raid sirens sounding in Kuwait.
