Udupi: Protesting against fielding JDS candidate from Udupi-Chikkamagaluru constituency, Udupi Congress workers burnt tyres and vent their anger in Udupi on Thursday.
Chikkamagaluru was the seat which gave a rebirth to Indira Gandhi, from where Oscar Fernandes was elected constituently. The alliance decision has disappointed us. Congress party workers are urging to field the Congress candidate for the Udupi-Chikkamagaluru seat, Vishwas Amin, Udupi District Youth Congress President, said.
