Udupi: A judge at Udupi Court has tested positive for Coronavirus, forcing authorities to seal down the court premises for two days starting today.

The entry points of the Court have been sealed down and entry to the public has been restricted. A sanitization drive will be carried at the hospital premises on June 22 and 23 and the Court will resume operations on July 23.

In an official release, the Principal Magistrate has canceled all the hearings and appointments of lawyers for two days, adding that the Court will resume hearings and matters from July 23.

Kalaburagi: A man was found dead, with his body seen hanging, in his own field in Hulasaguda village of Kalagi taluk on Saturday morning. The cause for death is unknown as yet.

The deceased, identified as Revanasiddhappa Shettappa (26), is learned to have been a resident of Hulasaguda village.

Ratkal Police Sub-inspector Sheela Devi reportedly visited the spot where the man’s body was found and inspected it.

Police have registered a case in this regard and are probing the death of the Shettappa.
