Udupi: A 56-year old man on Wednesday committed suicide after writing a note adding that he was infected by the Coronavirus. The incident took place in Udupi on Wednesday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Gopalkrishna Madiwala (56), a resident of Uppur in Udupi District.

Gopalkrishna who was working as a trainer at KSRTC was reportedly diagnosed with mental depression. A complaint has been registered at local police station into the matter.

Bengaluru: The Karnataka School Examinations and Assessments Board (KSEAB) has officially declared the Karnataka SSLC Result 2024 today, May 9.

Udupi district secures the first rank with 94% while Dakshina Kannada district secured the second rank with 92.12%.

Approximately 8.9 lakh students appeared for the SSLC (Class 10) examinations this year, with approximately 4.5 lakh male students and 4.3 lakh female students.

Students can check their results using their registration number and date of birth.

Students who did not pass the SSLC examinations will have the opportunity to appear for supplementary exams. Further information regarding these exams will be provided by the board.

Students unsatisfied with their marks can request re-checking or re-evaluation.
