Mangaluru: The Bearys Institute of Technology, in collaboration with the IEEE BIT Student Branch, organized an invited talk titled "Prosperity and Perseverance: Unveiling the Path to Success in the Ever-Evolving IT Industry."
The event took place on August 26th, 2023, from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM. The aim was to provide insights into the dynamic IT industry and offer guidance on achieving success in this field.
Prominent IT professionals who have established themselves in the IT industry were present as resource persons:
- Syed Ameen Murtuza - Product Designer at Treflo & dexponent.xyz
- Tabrez Humayun - System Engineer at Infosys
- Saud Manzoor Khan - Design Engineer at Western Digital
- Abdul Khalik - Co-Founder of TechSculpt Innovations
During the event, these accomplished individuals shared their personal experiences and insights from the IT field. They discussed essential skills, cutting-edge technologies, and tools that are crucial for success. The discussions covered the use of technologies such as AWS, Azure, and Web 3.0, offering attendees a broad view of various IT domains and practical advice for a successful IT career. The event provided networking opportunities, allowing students, professionals, and peers to interact directly.
The event began with a welcome address by Dr. Abdullah Gubbi, the IEEE Branch Counsellor. The resource persons then shared their experiences, highlighting the ever-changing nature of the IT industry and pathways to achieve success. Attendees actively engaged in an interactive session, posing questions and seeking guidance from the speakers. The event concluded with expressions of gratitude from Ms. Huda of the CSE department.

Washington: US President Donald Trump has said he has not yet considered whether he would continue the ceasefire involving Iran, while also claiming the United States holds the advantage in negotiations.
Speaking to reporters, Trump said he was prepared to make a deal with “whoever is running the show” in Iran.
“They are fighting with each other, there’s tremendous infighting. They’re probably fighting for leadership in many cases. I think they’re fighting not to be leader because we knocked out two levels of leaders,” he said.
Trump added, “When they want they can call me. We have all the cards, we’ve won everything.”
Referring to ongoing negotiations, he said, “They gave us a paper that should’ve been better. And, interestingly, immediately when I cancelled it [envoy trip to Pakistan], within 10 minutes we got a new paper that was much better.”
“We talked about they will not have a nuclear weapon, very simple … They offered a lot, but not enough,” he added.
When asked whether he would continue the ceasefire, Trump replied, “I haven’t even thought about it.”
The remarks come as uncertainty remains over the future of the temporary truce and broader negotiations between Washington and Tehran.
