Uppinangady : Youth died in bike-pick up collision
Uppinangadi, Feb 3: A youth died on the spot when his motorbike and a pickup vehicle collided each other at Kuntur on Subramanya state highway on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as Dinesh (30) of Sharavur near Alankar. The pickup vehicle coming from Kadaba to Alankar and motorbike going towards Kadaba collided each other at Annadka near Kuntur. As a result, bike rider Dinesh died on the spot. Kadaba police who visited the spot registered a case.

Iranian presidency vows response to Khamenei’s assassination, denounces killing as “great crime”
Tehran: The office of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian condemned the killing of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei “as a great crime” and vowed to respond, according to a statement from his office, Al Jazeera reported.
The statement stated that, “this great crime will never remain unanswered and will turn a new page in the history of the Islamic world and Shiism. The pure blood of this high-ranking leader will flow like a roaring spring and will eradicate American-Zionist oppression and crime.”
“This time too, with all our strength and determination, and with the support of the Islamic nation and the free people of the world, we will make the perpetrators and commanders of this great crime regret it,” it added.
Pezeshkian also declared seven days of public holidays in addition to the 40 days of mourning.
