Valamogru: Man dies after speeding bike skids
Puttur: A man was killed on the spot after a two-wheeler he was riding skid near Valamogru at around 10:30 am today.
The deceased has been identified as Krishnappa Gowda. More information regarding him is yet to be ascertained.

Miscreants vandalise Syed Peer Dargah in Chittapur
Kalaburagi: Miscreants allegedly vandalised the Syed Peer Dargah situated on Karadalli Road on the outskirts of Chittapur town late Wednesday night.
According to sources, the miscreants broke the lock on the dargah’s gate and damaged the surrounding structures, including the dargah’s minaret.
Upon receiving information about the incident, PSI Shrishail Ambati, along with police personnel and dargah caretaker Syed, visited the spot and conducted an inspection.
Condemning the incident, caretaker Syed stated, "Targeting a place of worship is unacceptable. The culprits involved should be arrested immediately and subjected to stringent punishment."
