Valencia: JD-S’ flex banner torn apart
Mangaluru: Unidentified miscreants on Thursday night have torn down the flex banner that was placed by Youth JDS to greet the newly elected MLC BM Farooq and Chief Minister Kumaraswamy in Valencia.
Dakshina Kannada District Youth JDS had placed the flux banner three days ago in Valencia.
“We got the information about the tearing of flux banner. We have decided to give a complaint,” the District Youth JDS President Akshit Suvarna told 'Vartha Bharti.'

Punjab elect to bowl against Chennai in IPL match
Chennai (PTI): Punjab Kings skipper Shreyas Iyer won the toss and opted to bowl against Chennai Super Kings in an Indian Premier League match here on Friday.
CSK made one change to their playing XI, bringing in Prashant Veer in place of Matt Short.
CSK had lost to Rajasthan Royals by eight wickets in the opening match while Punjab Kings defeated Gujarat Titans by three wickets.
