Hebri: The forest officials arrested two men of Vitla for allegedly pouching wild animals at Hebri.

The arrested are Azeez, a resident of Patur in Kerala; and Shahul Hameed, a resident of Kukkila in Vitla Padnuru. Three others are reportedly absconding.

The forest officials nabbed the accused from the Kabbinale Wildlife Sanctuary when they were indulged in hunting. A Vitla resident Hameed alias Talwar Hameed and two others, who were with the poachers, have reportedly run away from the spot.

The officers have recovered a poached Indian Spotted Chevrotain, single-barrel gun, a knife and a car from the accused.
