Woman collapses while feeding her newborn in Udupi, dies before reaching hospital
Kota: A 39-year-old woman collapsed and died while feeding her newborn baby on Saturday here at Kota in the Udupi district.
According to the reports, Gunavathi (39), had recently given birth to a baby in December last year. She was discharged from the hospital after 21 days of giving birth. It is also reported that she complained of diarrhea after a week after her discharge.
On Saturday morning, while she was feeding her baby, Gunavathi reportedly collapsed due to weakness following which she was rushed to the Kundapur government hospital. She breathed her last while on the way to the hospital.
A case has been filed at the Kota Police Station.

Trump says suspect was armed with multiple weapons at WH correspondents' dinner
Washington (PTI): President Donald Trump is addressing reporters at the White House after he and other top leaders of the United States were evacuated from an annual dinner of White House correspondents on Saturday night after a shooting incident outside the ballroom.
Trump said the suspect was armed with multiple weapons before stopped by Secret Service. One officer was shot, but he was protected by a bulletproof vest.
“He was shot from very close distance with a very powerful gun, and the vest did the job,” Trump said.
