Mudigere: In a tragic incident, a 26-year-old woman was found dead under suspicious circumstances in Mavinakoodige, Mudigere taluk, on Monday. The deceased, identified as Subheeksha, was reportedly found hanging, which has raised concerns about the cause of her death.
Following the discovery, Subheeksha's father, Chinnegowda, lodged a complaint with the Baloor Police, alleging that his daughter had been driven to suicide due to continuous emotional harassment over dowry by her husband, MC Praveen, and his parents, Chandregowda and Lakshmi.

Subheeksha, originally from Guttihadka in Malavanthige village near Samse in Kalasa taluk, married Praveen, a resident of Markal village in Baloor hobli, on May 29, 2020. The couple has a three-year-old son.
Based on the complaint, the Baloor Police have detained Praveen and his parents for questioning.
