Mangaluru: Karnataka CM Yediyurappa on Monday visited Dakshina Kannada District to take stock of flood-hit areas in the region while also meeting the victims.

Yediyurappa arrived at Mangaluru International Airport at Bajpe on a private plane and visited Belthangady Taluk.

He later visited several flood-hit areas and met victims of the flood, he is scheduled to hold a meeting with officials in Dharmasthala at 2.30pm to take stock of the flood relief work in the region. He will then visit Bantwal Taluk to inspect flood-hit areas.

After his Bantwal visit he will take flight to Mysuru at 5.30pm from Mangaluru International Airport.

New Delhi (PTI): The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Wednesday announced results for Class 10 board exams, officials said.

"The results have been declared," a senior board official said.

The CBSE started with two editions of board exams for Class 10 from this year. It was mandatory for students to appear in the first edition, the results of which have been declared.
