29-year-old man murdered in Shivamogga
Shivamogga: In an incident that occurred on Sunday night, a youth was reportedly murdered after an accused smashed his head with a rock near the K.S.R.T.C bus stand at Shivamogga. The deceased was identified as Kushan Chandu (29), it is learned.
The victim was reportedly murdered by an accused identified as Parashuram due to personal enmity.
Kushan Chandu and his friend Sathish had gone to a hotel on Sunday night for their dinner. During this time Parashuram and Kushan reportedly got into a fight because of an old issue. Parashuram then lifted a rock and smashed Krishna’s head in midst of the fight, the complaint reveals.
A case has been registered at the Doddapete police station in this regard, and an investigation is underway.

Illegally stored gas cylinders seized
Thane (PTI): Authorities have seized illegally stored 1,839 gas cylinders and seven vehicles worth over Rs 67 lakh in the Dombivli MIDC area of Thane district, officials said on Saturday.
A special vigilance team of the Mumbai Rationing Department detected an illegal storage of domestic and commercial LPG cylinders in Phase-2 of Dombivli (East).
Cylinders belonging to multiple gas agencies were found stockpiled in closed vehicles, unauthorised warehouses, and open sheds without mandatory permissions from the Explosives Department, Fire Department, or oil companies, according to an official release.
