Bengaluru: As the Coronavirus is spreading its wings in the state, 63 fresh cases have been reported in the State between Monday 5 pm and 5 pm on Tuesday. With this, the total number of corona infected persons in the State has increased to 925.
Of the 63 new cases, 15 reported from Bagalkot, 12 from Davanagere, 9 from Dharwad,5 from Hassan, 5 from Kolar, 3 from Gadag, 4 from Bengaluru Urban, 2 from DK District, 2 each from Yadagiri and Bidar, and 1 each from Bellary, Chikkaballapur, Kalaburagi and Mandya.
Fear has gripped people as several districts in green zone also reported cases. For the first time, corona positive cases have been reported from Hassan, Kolar and Yadagiri, which were in green zone. Shivamogga also reported COVID-19 cases recently.
Of the total 925 COVID-19 cases in the state, 433 have been recovered and discharged from the hospitals while 31 people died, said a Health Bulletin from the Department of Health and Family Welfare.

Shivamogga: A leopard was killed after being hit by a motorcycle near Mandagadde in Thirthahalli taluk of Shivamogga district.
According to reports, the biker was travelling from Shivamogga towards Thirthahalli when the leopard suddenly came onto the road from a nearby forest area near Mandagadde. The rider is said to have lost control of the bike and crashed into the animal.
The leopard suffered severe injuries in the impact and died on the spot. The biker also fell onto the road along with the motorcycle and sustained serious injuries. He was shifted to a hospital in Shivamogga for further treatment.
After receiving information about the incident, forest department officials, including Gajanur RFO Vinay Kumar, visited the spot and conducted an inspection.
