Bengaluru: Karnatka on Monday reported nine new positive cases of Corona Virus in the State against the three cases that were reported on Sunday in the state. With this the total number of positive COVID-19 cases in the State has clombed up tp 512.
According to the Health Bulletin issued by the government, one case was reported in Bengaluru, and two each in Dakshina Kannada, Bagalkot, Mandya and Vijayapura Districts.
The health bulletin further stated that of 512 infected patients in the state, 193 had been discharged from hospital after recovery while 19 of them had succumbed to the virus and died.

Davanagere: A KSRTC bus overturned on Friday near Marabanahalli in Channagiri taluk, leaving a college student dead and around 30 passengers injured, Deccan Herald reported.
The deceased has been identified as Darshan (21), a resident of Kundur village in Honnali taluk.
Seven of the injured are in critical condition and are undergoing treatment at a government hospital in Basavapatna.
According to preliminary information, the bus travelling from Davanagere to Basavapatna lost control after a mechanical failure involving the axle, leading to the accident.
Most of the injured passengers are students and women.
Locals and police rushed to the spot and carried out rescue operations. The injured were rushed to Basavapatna Government Hospital and Davanagere District Hospital via ambulances and private vehicles.
