Bengaluru: A death threat was allegedly issued to the Aam Aadmi Party state youth wing vice-president Girish Kumar Naidu late Saturday night.
An attempt is also learned to have been made to assault him in the Amritahalli Police Station jurisdiction areas of the city on Saturday.
Amritahalli Police have filed an FIR based on a complaint by Naidu’s friend Parthiban.
Naidu was traveling with his friends in a car from Yelahanka to KR Puram when unidentified young men stopped them on the way, verbally abused them and also tried to attack them with liquor bottles.
The young men also threatened to kill Naidu, Parthiban told the police.

Mangaluru: Three persons, including the owner of a house, were injured when a tree fell on their house near BGS High School near Kavoor on the outskirts of the city today.
The owner of the house Sadananda, his wife Ratna and their daughter were injured. It is learned that a lot of damage has been done to the house.
