Bengaluru: In a shocking incident that took place in Bengaluru, a man was dragged behind a two-wheeler for a distance of about one kilometer here on Magadi Road in the city on as Tuesday.
The video clip on social media shows the rider, who seemed to ignore the fact that a man was hanging on to his two-wheeler, stopping only after an auto rickshaw intercepted his way. Onlookers, including people driving down the road, are also seen stopping by and taking the rider to the task.
The incident took place near the Hosahalli Metro Station on Magadi Road.
A similar incident was reported on December 31, 2022, in New Delhi when a 20-year-old girl died after being dragged behind a car for 12 kilometers. The incident had shocked the nation and had triggered several debates over the irresponsible behavior of drivers and riders on the roads.

The first round of direct talks between the United States and Iran, held in Islamabad, has concluded, Al Jazeera reported citing sources close to the development.
According to the report, following the discussions, delegations from both sides agreed to exchange written documents, a move aimed at ensuring clarity and consensus on the understandings reached during the meeting.
Both the Iranian and US delegations arrived in Islamabad on Saturday, April 11, amid high security for the peace talks.
