Bengaluru: Amidst the heavy downpour that the state’s capital has faced over the last couple of days, passengers were on Monday night seen thronging to the Kempegowda International Airport on tractors.

Due to the waterlogging on the roads of the city, traveling to the airport had become difficult for people who had flights to catch, as a last resort, the passengers decided to jump on tractors to travel to the airport in time.

At the airport, runways, terminals, and the roads connecting to the airport were submerged in water causing passengers to panic. Amidst the panic, people took to tractors to commute to the airport.

A video of the incident has since gone viral on social media platforms wherein the driver of the tractor can also be seen calling on people trying to reach the airport to hop onto his tractor.
