Bengaluru: A complaint has been filed at the Seshadripuram Police Station in the city against actor Chetan Kumar for his statement that ‘bhootakola’ is not a Hindu convention.

A member of the Sangh Parivar has filed the complaint, accusing the actor of demeaning Hindu deities and culture. He has also urged the police to take legal action against Chetan Kumar for the statement.

A police complaint was recently filed in Madikeri against the actor, in relation to the said issue.

Members of the Hindu Jagaran Vedike in Karkala too had filed a complained with the Karkala Town Police, accusing Chetan Kumar of hurting religious sentiments of Hindus.
