Bengaluru, July 4: Arogya Karnataka card for all communities will be distributed soon said Deputy Chief Minister Dr. G. Parameshwar on Wednesday, July 4.

Senior BJP leader Jagadish Shettar threw question about the Arogya Karnataka card and Yashaswini scheme in Vidhana Soudha. When health minister Shivanand Patil and cooperation minister Bandeppa Kashempur failed to answer him, DCM Parameshwar interfered and said that four month time has given for the distribution of health cards. The problems will be solved on the basis of preference. Our goal is to prevent the death of poor people by not getting proper medical assistance.

Speaking on the occasion minister Shivanand Patil said that 480 hospitals have come forward to make an agreement with the government to treat patients under Arogya Karnataka scheme

Jammu (PTI) Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived in Jammu on Friday night ahead of the hectic day-long campaigning on Saturday during which he will address five public rallies in three districts of Jammu and Kashmir.

Shah arrived here from Delhi and drove straight to the State Guest house, a senior BJP leader said.

Shah will fly to Poonch early tomorrow morning and address the first of four rallies in Mendhar followed by Surankote in Poonch district, he added.

Shah is scheduled to address rallies in Thanamandi and Rajouri followed by Akhnoor in Jammu.

He is also expected to hold a rally in the Nowshera constituency in support of Jammu and Kashmir BJP president Ravinder Raina on Sunday.
